Nominados confirmados para los 59° Annual Grammy Awards

Los Annual Grammy Awards celebran su 59° edición el 12 de febrero en el Staples Center de Los Angeles y la National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences dio a conocer la lista nominados para la ceremonia que premia los artistas, compositores y discográficas más destacadas del 1 de octubre de 2015 al 30 de septiembre de 2016.

Destacan Beyoncé y Adele, ambas nominadas a mejor álbum por Lemonade y 25, respectivamente; Canción del Año, por los singles Formation y Hello, y Grabación del Año. En la primera de las categorías, las artistas competirán además con Views, de Drake; Purpose, de Justin Bieber, y A Sailor’s Guide to Earth, de Sturgill Simpson. Mientras que en la categoría de Grabación del Año compartirán terna con Work, de Drake y Rihanna.

Además, Beyoncé fue quien recibió la mayor cantidad de nominaciones (9) con Mejor Album Urbano Contemporáneo (Lemonade), Mejor Performance Pop (Hold Up), Mejor Video Musical (Formation), Mejor Film Musical (Lemonade) y Mejor Performance de Rock (Don’t Hurt Yourself), donde está nominada con Disturbed y David Bowie, quien cuenta con 5 nominaciones póstumas: Mejor Album Alternativo, Mejor Performance de Rock, Mejor Canción de Rock, Best Recording Package y Mejor Ingeniería de Album, todas por Blackstar.

Como Mejor Artista Nuevo está Chance the Rapper, quien además suma a sus chances la nominación por Mejor Performance de Rap Performance (No Problem), Mejor Canción Performance de Sung/Rap (Ultralight Beam), Mejor Canción de Rap (No Problem y Ultralight Beam), y Mejor Album de Rap (Coloring Book).

Por el premio a Album Alternativo del Año se disputan Bon Iver (22, A Million), PJ Harvey (The Hope Six Demolition Project), Iggy Pop (Post Pop Depression) y Radiohead (A Moon Shaped Pool).
